Accelerated Berklee Mastery™ Full Scholarship
The Elizabeth Zabala Accelerated Berklee Mastery™ Scholarship is dedicated to supporting outstanding young musicians pursuing admission to Berklee College of Music.
Each year, one student will be awarded a full scholarship to the Accelerated Berklee Mastery™ experience—a premium, personalized mentorship program that includes private music coaching sessions and mock audition and interview preparation, designed to elevate students seeking admission success to Berklee College of Music.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age 17–20 at the time of application
- Demonstrated interest in applying to Berklee College of Music within the next admissions cycle
- Actively studying music (instrumental, vocal, production, composition, etc.)
Reference Requirement
Applicants must provide a reference from one of the following:
- Private music teacher
- High school/college music teacher
- Conductor or musical director
- Vocal or instrumental coach
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Participation in ensembles, performances, competitions, and/or music-related activities
- Leadership experience, community involvement, or music outreach
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit:
- 2-3min performance video on primary instrument
- Online Application Form
- Includes contact info, musical background, primary instrument, and goals
- Personal Statement (500–750 words)

Academic Transcript may also be requested.
Judging Process
A panel of industry professionals, educators, and/or Berklee alumni will evaluate applicants based on the following criteria:
- Musical Skill & Artistry – 40%
- Potential for Growth in the Music Industry – 25%
- Dedication & Passion for Music – 20%
- Character & Professionalism – 15%
The panel reserves the right to conduct finalist interviews—live or virtual.
Award Benefits
The selected scholarship recipient will receive:
- Full enrollment in Accelerated Berklee Mastery program
- Personalized audition & application coaching
- Portfolio and recording support
- Interview preparation, including one mock interview
- Six (6) check-ins directly with Elizabeth Zabala
- Mentorship from Elizabeth Zabala throughout the program
No financial award is given directly to the student; the scholarship covers program instruction costs.
Annual Timeline
- Application Opens – January 15, 2026
- Application Deadline – March 31, 2026
- Finalists Notified – May 1, 2026
- Scholarship Winner Announced – June 1, 2026
If June 1 falls on a weekend or holiday, notification will be sent the next business day.
Program Expectations
The scholarship recipient must:
- Commit fully to the Accelerated Berklee Mastery™ program
- Maintain consistent communication and progress
- Allow performance or program-related content for promotional use
If a recipient fails to meet expectations, the scholarship may be reassigned to a runner-up.
