Meet Liz Zabala: Berklee Graduate, Summa Cum Laude

Liz Zabala graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2024 with a degree in Vocal Performance & Contemporary Conducting, finishing her degree a year ahead of schedule.

At Berklee, Liz was mentored by Linda Balliro, one of the most respected vocal pedagogues in the industry, who helped her build the kind of technical foundation and musical awareness essential for delivering performances that feel authentic and emotionally grounded.

Liz has taught privately for years and is the Founder and Director of the Young Professional Musicians Collective (YPMC), an organization that empowers young musicians through collaboration and performance experience. She also served as Assistant Conductor of the Boston Festival Orchestra, making her conducting debut at Jordan Hall with the choral section of Gustav Holst’s The Planets.

Liz is excited to continue her musical journey and work with students who want to grow not just as singers, but as artists. She knows how auditions work, what makes a portfolio compelling, and what separates a good candidate from an exceptional one—and she brings that insider perspective to every student she coaches.

Policies

No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours will forfeit their lesson. No refunds will be issued once a payment is made.

Payment is accepted through e-transfer, Zelle, or cash (cash for in-person appointments only). Payment must be made in full prior to the lesson.

Lessons in packages may be combined. Ex: You can use two of the 30min lessons to have a 1 hour lesson (useful for audition prep etc.)
